Located on the river Mondego, Quinta do Rabaçal has over 40 acres of forest and pristine wilderness.
We offer you an experience of being immersed in nature, but with a touch of luxury! Our very private location is 2 km from the nearest village and surrounded by trees and river beaches. On site, we have a bespoke 300 square meter Dojo style fully equipped Gym, a private Yoga area by the river, a dining area for 50 people, an outdoor BBQ, cocktail bar & chill out lounge, mountain bikes, kayaks, paddle boards and large infinity pool with outside jacuzzi!

Quinta do Rabaçal is a beautifully renovated ancient hamlet nestled into the stone terraces along the Mondego river. This is an area of special ecological interest and is in a protected nature zone. The Quinta (farm) is completely off the grid and we produce our own organic food and green energy for power and heating.

Our houses are beautifully renovated with fully equipped kitchens and central heating, as well as wood burning stoves for cozy nights around the fire.
We have three 3 bed houses, and one 4 bed house with a mixture of king size and twin rooms. The houses are warm & clean, with a simple rural style of stone, wood, and antique furniture.
The beds are very comfy with latex memory foam breathable mattresses, bamboo filled quilts, and local wool blankets.

Our Story So Far
The Quinta (farm) dates back for 1000's of years...Lost in time. The original Portuguese family living here left 65 years ago but continued to farm for another 30 years afterwards as the soil is very fertile by the river.
In 2016 we took over and we have loved working in this very special beautiful site.
